This is a fairly new hybrid, so the temperament of these dogs can vary greatly. However, they seem to do well in households with singles or older children. They’re loyal to their family members and love to play games all day long. This doggo will certainly keep you on your toes. Given their size, they’ll do okay in an apartment. However, given their high energy levels, this crossbreed will do much better in a house with a fenced-in yard. They’ll love to run around and play.

Speaking of exercise, Aussiepoms will enjoy a daily walk or playing games with you in the backyard. However, they don’t like to be alone and are prone to separation anxiety. So, be sure to spend as much time with your Aussiepom as you can.

They are okay with children, as long as they’re properly trained and socialized early. Luckily, this doggo is easy to train as they are intelligent. As long as you act as though the training is a game, they’ll be super responsive and learn fast. In addition, Aussiepoms are friendly with other dogs in the house and also strangers. So, if you’re looking for a guard dog or a watch dog, this pooch may not be it.
